There are many ways to show a feed on many different types of devices, the idea is to share regular updated info on the fly, on your PC it is really a toy, it saves you logging onto our site to see the latest reports but for news and weather it can be really useful, do you need it? it's a toy, of course you do. The main way is to show the feed on your desktop, here I will try to help you get it working.

  1. If you have a Google Desktop then skip to number 4.
  2. Download the Google Desktop, Click Here.
  3. Install the software as shown.
  4. Once you have it all up and running, click the top right menu on the sidebar of your desktop and select "Add Gadgets".
  5. In the search box type "onefeed", click on "add".
  6. Now go to the viewers option menu and click option, paste this link into it http://www.leader-lines.com/wap/shore-rss.xml"
  7. Hey Presto, you have our catch reports on your desktop, the gadget checks every 5 mins for an update.

Method 2- Using Windows SideShow

  1. From our homepage (or now) you should see an orange icon, normally near the home button, click it.

  2. Now click "Subscribe" it will ask you where to save the link, it should go into the "feeds" section of your favourites.
  3. Click on "Start/Windows" and select control panel then SideShow.
  4. If you have the RSS freader installed you will see both our feed and the viewer's orange icons, if you don't have the standard orange icon you will need to click "Add Gadget" can select the RSS viewer.
  5. With the RSS viewer installed, click on it and select our feed.
  6. As with Microsoft, there is more, close control panel down and click on the menu of the RSS gadget, deselect all the news feeds and select our feed, job done.

Everytime your PC starts up and hooks onto the net your RSS service will start, normally within 5 minutes the first message will display.
